Lining/Secondary Containment Coatings

EsterLine-Reinforced Vinyl Ester Coating and Lining Systems are designed to create an impermeable barrier, protecting concrete or steel substrates against chemical and solvent attack. EsterLine -Vinyl Ester chemistry creates a very tough, dense means of protection resulting in a more torturous path for chemicals and solvents to have to penetrate to get down into the substrate.

Under EsterLine series, following products are offered.

EsterLine 100

EsterLine 100 is a two-component polyester-based coating designed for the protection of concrete and metal surfaces in highly corrosive environments. Engineered to perform under demanding conditions, it is especially suitable for splash zones and a wide range of structures such as chemical plants, oil platforms, ships, and power plants. The coating offers outstanding physical properties, including excellent flexural and tensile strength, along with superior impact and abrasion resistance. It is ideal for both internal and external protection of tanks and structural elements, and performs effectively in immersed conditions such as marine, aqueous, and light chemical environments. Additionally, it can be used as a durable floor coating and can be applied with skid-resistant aggregates for enhanced safety.

EsterLine 240

EsterLine 240 is a two-component, 100% solids vinyl ester-based coating/lining system designed for metal and concrete substrates in highly aggressive environments. It offers exceptional resistance to aliphatic and aromatic solvents, as well as concentrated organic and inorganic acids, especially under immersed conditions. The coating is highly durable, with excellent abrasion and weather resistance, making it ideal for long-term protection. Commonly used as a tank lining, it is suitable for steel and concrete tanks requiring high acid resistance, with application thickness ranging from conventional to high builds (300–500 microns per coat). It is widely recommended for storage tanks, vessels, wastewater treatment units, and pipelines in industries such as power plants, pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical, and oil and gas sectors.
