RustoBlock ZS 1218

RustoBlock™ ZS1218 is the primer of choice in highly corrosive environments. This product was formulated to withstand many different environments, when top coated with Multicoat® high quality topcoats. We can guarantee a high performance system whether you choose silicon, an epoxy or urethane topcoat. Recommended to be applied under a wide variety of conditions and to a vast array of steel structures including, chemical plants, oil platforms, ships, power plants and many more.

USES:
Because of excellent corrosion protection offered by RustoBlock™ ZS1218 to steel, it finds applications in various critical fields. Some of the areas are given below:
1. Bridges: Bridges like off-shore structures are highly vulnerable to corrosion.
2. Harbor Structures: The corrosion conditions encountered by off-shore petroleum platform are most severe. Many hundreds of drilling and production structures need long term corrosion protection.
3. Nuclear Power Facilities: The steel surface within reactor building requires coatings with 40 years of expected life. Coating based on RustoBlock™ ZS1218 is unaffected by γ-rays or neutron bombardment.
